Adorable Cushions is a small business in Shropshire, specialising in selling pet shaped cushions and pet related gifts.
Adorable Cushions had an existing website developed in-house in one of the DIY website builder utilities. Not only was the existing website a poor showcase for the quality of the products, as a growing business with an expanding trade element they required a dedicated e-commerce website with a fresh modern design.
The business was also expanding into other gift areas so there was requirement for the website to be capable of accommodating new categories and product types as the product portfolio grew.
A facility for the website visitor to upload an image of their own pet so that it could be printed on a cushion was also required.
Shopify was the perfect platform to develop an e-commerce website for Adorable Cushions, providing cost effective development, a stunning new look and a great platform for showcasing their excellent product range.
Our designers provided a concept that showcased the product collections with a simple and intuitive mobile first navigation system. The client was delighted with the design and the project progressed to development.
Our developer incorporated many enhance features within the original budget, such as a product quick view, currency converter, MailChimp integration and a full trade login system that could provide multiple levels of discount, all manageable from the Shopify administration.
Customer Reviews were incorporated into the product page alongside custom regions for Cushion care and Returns Information.
An in-page sliding cart feature was built into the website to enable visitors to navigate the pages of the website and quickly view the content of their shopping cart without leaving the page, a favourite item with the client.
The Qstomizer Add-on was integrated into the website to allow the upload and sizing/positioning of visitor’s pet images for creating custom cushions. The integration was customised by our developers to work perfectly with the custom theme.
